  • 1500m Motorised Cable reel powered by generator or auxiliary local supply
DESCRIPTION

Data centres and their service providers demand ultimate resiliency for fixed assets. Ensuring standby generators can operate and accept load effectively in an emergency is key, so regular load testing is essential. iPower were commissioned to produce a mobile load bank with the facility to ‘plug’ into a fixed installation, for rapid load testing of a resilient power source.

iPower designed and built a 40ft articulated trailer solution, comprising a 1250kVA containerised load bank, 66kVA diesel generator (load bank supply) and one of our market leading ‘MotoReel’ variable speed motorised cable reels. Assembly was carried out in-house ,including trailer wiring and associated works. The motorised cable reel was fitted with multiple single core 300mm H07 flexible cables per phase, complete with IP67 fast connection ‘plug-in’ terminations to customers specification.
